Thuy Dang is the eldest daughter of Thu Bui, the original owner of Pho Far East who she opened with her husband, Phat Trinh. When her mother decided to sell Pho Far East in 2022, she was inspired by her sister, Hoa Trinh’s Midtown Pho, to open Uptown Pho as a continuation of their shared family legacy. Both Midtown Pho and Uptown Pho are more than just restaurants—they are a tribute to their mother's legacy and ensure that their mom's secret Pho recipe lives on in every bowl.
